THE CHOICES WE MAKE

AN SEL PROGRAM ON SELF ESTEEM

The Choices We Make SEL is a program that teaches children the two-prong method related to the choices we make. Students are taught to understand that one of the best ways to make good choices is to have good self-esteem. If we feel good on the inside, then we make better choices on the outside as it relates to our behavior and the way we handle life situations.

This program is presented in two ten-minute modules, with time for reflection, questions and a quiz to assess the student’s competencies on this subject. Students come away from this program with improved self-esteem, and knowledge of what it takes to make good choices, which can lead to a better quality of life for all who participate in this program.
